On September 8, 2005 Willmar firefighters collected over $14,000 in donations throughout Willmar.
Minnesota Task Force IV
October 22 - November 5, 2005 Willmar Fire Department sent 3 firefighters to Belle Chasse, Louisiana to assist with fire protection and clean-up efforts.  Along with our firefighters, personnel from Minneapolis, Bloomington, Coon Rapids, Moorhead and Cottage Grove also pursued on this 14-day journey to make up Minnesota Task Force IV.
